Innovations for industry of the latest generation will be demonstrated from October 1 to 4 at MachTech&InnoTech 2024 exhibition by ALFLET Engineering. Her team focused on the two machines, the qualities of which we are about to introduce you to, namely – an automatic Swiss-type lathe from STAR Micronics and a riveting machine from BalTec.
In hall 3, stand C8, the thousands of attendees discovered an industrial offer impressive with flexibility in production processes. It was the SP-23 automatic lathe from STAR Micronic.
The flexible SP-23
23 automatic lathe is characterized by its flexibility and for the first time can process material up to 23 mm in size. The number of 8 turning tools and 7 driven cross machining stations, 5 of which are interchangeable, is impressive. The proven SR class powered tools can also be used.
Among the main advantages of the machine are:
- Fanuc 0i-TF Plus control with handwheel
- C-axis control of the main and counter spindle
- fully independent rear spindle machining with 4 jobs
- possibility to convert from long to short turning
- removable control panel
The BalTec riveting machine
ALFLET Engineering presented to the visitors the qualities and advantages of a riveting machine from BalTec.
“ In connection technology, there are different approaches to joining solutions for a wide variety of applications of which some need to be controlled or monitored.
The comparison of joining procedures is one of the first possible steps when it comes to defining the most appropriate procedure,” shares ALFLET Engineering. The team presents all three of the main features of the machine:
RADIAL RIVETING: Describing a rosette-shaped movement that forms in three different directions, it is known as one of the gentlest riveting processes. For small forces.
ORBITAL RIVETING: Orbital riveting technology differs in molding method compared to radial. In orbital riveting, the forming tool performs a circular motion. It is suitable for hollow parts with larger diameters.
ROLLING: Two or more rolls are part of a roll forming head. It is a gentle process suitable for hollow parts that allows for a large range of part diameters and is ideal for forming delicate, thin-walled components.
” We look forward to meeting you again at the next show”, say the professionals from ALFLET Engineering.
