The wide range of functions of the PATON™ StandardMIG–350 welding machines

Do you need a solution that performs tasks of different difficulty and complexity? Pay attention to the PATON™ StandardMIG–350, which is designed for continuous operation. It is among the four welding machines from PATON INTERNATIONAL at MachTech&InnoTech 2026. It works with gas-shielded welding wire (GMAW – MIG/MAG), self-shielded welding wire (FCAW-S), flux-cored wire in a gas-shielded environment (FCAW-G), manual-arc with a coated electrode (SMAW) and tungsten electrode in a gas-shielded environment with contact ignition (GTAW – LIFT-TIG).

These welding machines are one of the exhibitor’s four welding machines and provides precise control of the arc, current pulsation, optimizes gas pre-supply time and wire feed speed. With a welding current range from 14 to 350A and a robust wire feed system with 4 rollers for spools up to 18kg, the machine ensures a stable arc, minimal spatter and clean – even weld seams.

The PATON™ StandardMIG–350 operates with coated electrodes (1.6–6.0 mm), welding wires (0.6–1.4 mm) and tungsten electrodes (1.0–4.0 mm). Through the digital control, all parameters can be individually adjusted to suit different materials and welding processes. The pulse function maintains controlled heat input and stable arc behavior, especially in welding tasks with high deposition rates. The suitability for operation with generators and long power cables ensures reliable operation under a wide range of conditions.

Flexible adaptation

PROXIMUS ENGINEERING also focuses on the inverter MIG_MAG welding machines PATON™ SynerMIG–500–15–4–WK. The professional digital machine has a special trolley and a built-in cooling system. The system combines flexibility with high energy efficiency and is designed for demanding industrial applications. It supports SMAW (coated electrode), GMAW (MIG/MAG), FCAW (with or without shielding gas) and GTAW (TIG) LIFT.

The welding current is adjustable in the range of 16–500 A. This allows precise settings for different materials and thicknesses of the parts. The machine works with coated electrodes with a thickness of 1.6–8.0 mm, welding wires with a diameter of 0.6–1.6 mm and tungsten electrodes with a diameter of 1.0–5.0 mm. Therefore, it is suitable for large-volume industrial production and for heavy steel structures. The machine, which is among the four welding machines from PATON INTERNATIONAL at MachTech&InnoTech 2026, has pulse functions in the MMA, GTAW (TIG) LIFT and GMAW (MIG/MAG) modes. In pulse operation, the welding current is modulated periodically between peak and base levels. This allows for targeted control of the heat input.

The robust 4-roll wire feeder for working with 5, 15 or 18 kg welding wire rolls ensures constant and precise wire feeding, including when processing soft aluminum wires – an important factor when welding this material.

Thanks to the built-in wheels, the system is mobile. A power cable of up to 30m can be used, which provides high flexibility when working in large industrial halls and construction sites. The polarity switch (DCEP/DCEN) facilitates quick switching between different welding processes. The standardized central EURO connector allows for quick torch replacement, and the modular design improves work comfort and safety at the workplace.

For welding currents above 300A, a liquid cooling system, such as the PATON Cooler 7, is required to effectively cool the key components of the torch – handle, head, hoses and power cable. The device is designed to work with generators and long power cables, which ensures constant power and safety of operation under difficult conditions on the site. The advanced digital control allows precise adjustment of the welding voltage, gas pre-supply time and wire feed speed. This way, the welding machine adapts flexibly to different materials and operational requirements.

The welding process is of the type Gas-shielded gas welding (GMAW – MIG/MAG), self-shielded gas welding (FCAW-S), flux-cored gas welding (FCAW-G), manual arc welding with a coated electrode (SMAW), contact-ignition tungsten electrode welding (GTAW – LIFT-TIG), carbon electrode cutting (CAC) and carbon electrode with compressed air (CAC-A).

For demanding users

Professionals will also be presented with the inverter TIG AC_DC device PATON™ MasterTIG –315–WK AC/DC, with GTAW AC/DC, GTAW SPOT, GTAW MIX AC/DC and MMA AC/DC welding methods.

The advanced welding device is a high-performance complex system for demanding users. Supplied as a standard package that includes an external PATON™ Cooler 7-S water cooler, welding trolley and foot pedal. The device supports TIG AC/DC, MMA and SPOT welding processes.

With a maximum welding current of 315 A and compatibility with tungsten electrodes (Ø 1.0–4.0 mm) as well as coated electrodes (MMA) (Ø 1.6–6.0 mm), the system is suitable for welding unalloyed and low-alloyed steels, stainless steels, aluminum and aluminum alloys, as well as copper and copper alloys. It is intended for industrial production and a variety of production tasks requiring welding of steel and aluminum structures, pipe systems and process pipelines, machine and industrial equipment components, process equipment assemblies. The TIG AC mode is intended for aluminum and aluminum alloys, while TIG DC is used for steels, stainless steels and copper alloys, as well as, where permitted by applicable standards and qualified procedures, for pressure-resistant components.

For precise process control, the PATON™ MasterTIG –315–WK AC/DC offers advanced functions: Dual Pulse (TIG DC), Single Pulse (TIG AC) and non-contact HF arc ignition.

The ability to save and quickly recall up to 10 work programs and remote control of welding parameters directly from the TIG torch makes it easy to maintain constant settings and supports standardized work procedures. The included foot pedal expands the possibilities of working with the PATON™ MasterTIG –315–WK AC/DC, which is among the four welding machines from PATON INTERNATIONAL at MachTech&InnoTech 2026. It allows continuous, stepless adjustment of the welding current during welding, reduces the risk of burning through thin-walled components and maintains controlled arc burnout at the end of the weld.

The system, which is among the four welding machines from PATON INTERNATIONAL at MachTech&InnoTech 2026, ensures stable operation even with long welding and power cables. It is equipped with adaptive, load-dependent fan control. It provides precise regulation of the shielding gas flow, which further increases the stability and efficiency of the process. The PATON™ Cooler 7-S included in the set is equipped with quick connections and a flow sensor, ensuring effective cooling of the liquid-cooled welding torches. Thus, it supports long duty cycles and increased productivity during continuous operation.
