FANUC's integrated solution for robotized arc welding

Welding process requirements keep increasing and one of the solutions combining high quality and high repeatability of the process is robotic welding. The use of industrial robots allows high flexibility in the resistance spot welding and arc welding processes. The proposals for this industrial sector will be presented by FANUC.

The use of an industrial robot together with specialized welding equipment enables a high degree of automation of the welding process. The result is a better welding seam, higher performance and efficiency.

The robotic welding harness is a ready-to-use system including a robot, specialized welding equipment, peripheral devices and safety devices. The harness is a pre-designed and integrated facility. It allows the welding process to begin immediately after the mechanical positioning of the harness.

There are different options for implementing a welding harness. Choosing the right configuration for the respective application is important for achieving good efficiency and quick return on investment.

The fully integrated solution between the welding robot and the impulse inverter welding unit offers the operator a greater flexibility to choose the individual processes. This guarantees welding with optimum parameters at any arc voltage regardless of the type of material and the diameter of the welding wire.
